Effective: May 7, 2026 · Last updated: May 7, 2026
By accessing, browsing, or using the StockTV application available at stocktv.app or any companion app on a connected-TV platform (collectively, the "Application"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use, Disclaimers, Subscription Terms, and Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Terms"). The Application is operated by Salzventure Technologies LLC, a U.S. limited liability company ("StockTV," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease using the Application.
Your continued use of the Application after any modification to these Terms constitutes binding acceptance of the revised Terms. Where a change is material, we will surface it in-app or by email to active accounts and bump the "Last updated" date below.
StockTV is a market-data display tool that retrieves and presents publicly available stock, ETF, and cryptocurrency market data, and (on Pro+ subscriptions) read-only summaries of holdings you have linked through SnapTrade, for informational and entertainment purposes on connected-TV devices, mobile devices, and the web.
Minimum age 18. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account, accept these Terms, or purchase a subscription. The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (see §34).
Beta features. Features explicitly labeled "Beta," "Preview," or similar may be unstable, incomplete, or removed without notice. Non-beta features are provided as part of our ongoing service but may also be modified, replaced, or discontinued as described in §22.
Nothing in or provided by this Application — including but not limited to prices, charts, percentage changes, sparklines, volume figures, market-capitalization figures, date ranges, holdings summaries, profit/loss figures, news headlines, or any other displayed data or visual element — constitutes:
The Application is not registered with, licensed by, approved by, or subject to oversight from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), or any equivalent regulatory body in any jurisdiction. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, or money-transmitter, and we do not custody assets or place trades on your behalf. You should consult a licensed financial professional before making any financial or investment decision of any kind.
All market data displayed by this Application is sourced from third-party providers (currently including TwelveData, SnapTrade for portfolio holdings, and other providers we may engage from time to time) and is subject to the following conditions, which you acknowledge and accept:
DO NOT USE THIS APPLICATION TO MAKE ANY TIME-SENSITIVE, TRADING, INVESTMENT, OR FINANCIAL DECISION OF ANY KIND.
The Application's backend infrastructure, including but not limited to the data-proxy endpoints at /api/quote/ and all related routes and services, is provided solely to power the Application's user interface. You may not, under any circumstances:
Any unauthorized API access or automated use is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate permanent termination of your access without refund and may subject you to legal liability.
To use most features of the Application you must create an account. You may sign in with your email and a password or, where supported, through a third-party identity provider (such as Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple). When you use a third-party identity provider, you authorize that provider to share with us a limited set of profile data (typically your email address and, if you choose, your display name).
One-device limit on TV display. Your account may stream the live TV dashboard (including the Android TV, Apple TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, and Chromecast surfaces) on one (1) television at a time. Signing in on a second TV will sign your account out of the first. The web dashboard at stocktv.app/dashboard remains available on any number of phones, tablets, or computers for managing your account, watchlist, portfolio, and billing — the one-device limit applies specifically to the TV display surface. We may, at our sole discretion, expand this limit for higher-tier plans (e.g., Pro+) in the future. Attempting to circumvent this limit, or sharing credentials in order to operate the Application on multiple TVs simultaneously, is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination as described in §10 below.
One active sign-in at a time; no account sharing. Your StockTV account is for your personal use only. Sharing your password or letting other people use your account is prohibited. Pro and Pro+ subscriptions are individual licenses, not multi-user accounts. We may detect and respond to credential sharing through a variety of signals (concurrent sign-in patterns, geographic anomalies, device fingerprints, etc.) and at our sole discretion suspend or terminate accounts we believe are being shared. Where we use device fingerprinting, the categories of data collected for that purpose are described in our Privacy Policy at Part II below.
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account and access to the Application at any time, with or without notice, and (subject to §12 below) without liability, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms; abusive, fraudulent, or illegal use; excessive or automated API usage; or at our sole discretion for any operational reason.
We reserve the right to impose rate limits, throttle requests, block IP addresses, require authentication, or otherwise restrict access to any part of the Application at any time and without notice. Users who exceed reasonable usage thresholds or who attempt to circumvent access controls may have their access permanently revoked without refund or recourse, except as required by applicable consumer-protection law.
The Application, including its design, user interface, source code, branding, visual elements, and all content we have created, is our proprietary property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or license to any intellectual property belonging to us or our licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Application or any part of it without our prior written consent. Market data displayed through the Application remains the property of its respective third-party providers and is subject to their terms.
If you believe content displayed by the Application infringes your copyright, see our DMCA notice procedure in §21 below.
The Application is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
StockTV offers paid subscription tiers ("Pro" and "Pro+") on monthly and annual billing periods. Pricing in effect at the time of your purchase or renewal is shown on the in-app pricing screen and on the checkout page operated by our payment processor. All prices are in U.S. dollars. You agree to pay all applicable taxes; where required by law in your billing jurisdiction, sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar may be added to the price at checkout.
BY PURCHASING A SUBSCRIPTION YOU AGREE THAT:
New accounts may receive a complimentary trial of our Pro tier upon signup. The trial duration is currently ten (10) days and may be changed at any time without notice; the duration applicable to your account is the duration in effect at the time of signup. Trial mechanics:
Upgrading to a paid plan during the trial window converts your account to a paid subscription effective immediately, with billing beginning on the day of upgrade. Trial credits or unused trial days are not refundable, transferable, or convertible to monetary value.
You can cancel your subscription at any time using a method that is at least as easy as the method you used to subscribe. Specifically:
For annual subscriptions, we will send you a renewal-reminder email 15–30 days before the auto-renewal date so you have an opportunity to cancel without being charged for another year.
When you cancel a paid subscription, your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. Refunds are not prorated for partial periods, and we do not generally provide refunds for fees already charged. Where required by applicable consumer-protection law in your state or country (for example, California's "cooling-off" provisions under Bus. & Prof. Code §17602, or the EU/UK 14-day distance-selling withdrawal right where it applies), the law of your jurisdiction prevails over this paragraph.
For subscriptions purchased through Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing, all refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple or Google according to their respective policies; we cannot issue refunds for purchases we did not process.
We may change subscription prices and the contents of any tier from time to time. Changes apply only to renewals occurring after the change takes effect, and we will notify you in advance as described in §10.1. We are not liable for any pricing errors and reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, in which case we will refund any amount actually paid for the cancelled order.
If you purchase a subscription through Apple StoreKit (Apple TV, iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android TV), the following additional terms apply:
You may close your account at any time from Settings → "Delete my account" on the dashboard, or by emailing us at the address in §39. We may suspend or terminate your account as described in §6 and §7. Upon termination:
If you upgrade to Pro+ and choose to use the broker-sync feature, you may link one or more brokerage or cryptocurrency-exchange accounts through SnapTrade, Inc., a third-party aggregation provider. The following applies:
The Application relies on third-party providers whose terms govern their respective services and your interaction with them:
The presence of a provider in this list is not an endorsement of its terms. We may add, remove, or replace providers from time to time. A current sub-processor list is also available in our Privacy Policy at Part II.
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE APPLICATION WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR; (B) ANY DATA DISPLAYED IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE; (C) THE APPLICATION IS FREE FROM SECURITY VULNERABILITIES; (D) ACCESS WILL BE CONTINUOUS OR UNREVOKED; OR (E) ANY FEATURE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE IN ITS CURRENT FORM.
Display hardware risk (image retention / burn-in). The Application is a market-data dashboard. By design it shows static or near-static visual elements — ticker bars, watchlist rows, sector cards, indices, and persistent UI chrome — for extended periods. Some display technologies (notably OLED, AMOLED, and plasma panels) are susceptible to image retention, screen burn-in, accelerated pixel wear, or other long-term hardware damage when static content is shown for prolonged uninterrupted periods. You acknowledge this risk and accept full responsibility for any such damage to your display. The Application includes optional mitigations — including a burn-in safe mode and a dwell-and-page rotator — that you are responsible for enabling and configuring as appropriate for your hardware. We make no representation that any mitigation is sufficient to prevent burn-in on any specific device, and we recommend following your TV manufacturer's published guidance on static-content viewing and pixel-refresher / panel-care features.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES IN CONSUMER TRANSACTIONS. IF YOU RESIDE IN SUCH A STATE, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS UNDER YOUR STATE'S LAW.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SALZVENTURE TECHNOLOGIES LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS (COLLECTIVELY, "WE") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY — CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, STATUTE, OR OTHERWISE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND EVEN IF ANY REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $10 USD.
Carve-outs preserved. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law (including consumer-protection law in your state or country of residence) does not permit to be excluded or limited. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR OTHER DAMAGES IN CONSUMER TRANSACTIONS. IF YOU RESIDE IN SUCH A STATE, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOUR RECOVERY MAY BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY YOUR STATE'S LAW.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Salzventure Technologies LLC and its affiliates, officers, owners, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of any provision of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (c) your infringement of any third party's intellectual-property or other rights; or (d) your willful misconduct in connection with the Application. This obligation does not apply to any claim arising from our own breach of these Terms or our own negligence or willful misconduct, and is limited as required by applicable consumer-protection law (including, where applicable, the New Jersey Truth-in-Consumer-Contract, Warranty & Notice Act).
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God; pandemic, epidemic, or public-health emergency; government action, embargo, sanction, or regulatory order; internet or network outages; third-party API or data-provider failures (including TwelveData, SnapTrade, Yahoo Finance, or others); cloud-infrastructure outages (including AWS); CDN or WAF provider failures (including Fastly); cyberattacks; power failures; labor disputes; or any other cause beyond our reasonable control. During any such event our obligations under these Terms are suspended for the duration of the force-majeure condition.
You represent and warrant that you (a) are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions (including, as of the effective date, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine); (b) are not identified on the U.S. Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, the U.S. Commerce Department's Entity List or Denied Persons List, or any equivalent restricted-party list maintained by the U.S. or your jurisdiction; and (c) will not use the Application in violation of any U.S. or other applicable export-control or sanctions law. We may suspend or terminate access if we determine in good faith that this section is or may be violated.
StockTV is committed to making the Application usable by people with the widest range of abilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, on the web dashboard, and to platform-equivalent guidelines on connected-TV platforms. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at the address in §39 with a description of the issue and the device or assistive technology you are using; we will work in good faith to provide an equivalent alternative or to address the barrier in a reasonable timeframe.
StockTV respects the intellectual-property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). If you believe that content displayed by the Application infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following:
Designated agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (Reg. No. DMCA-1072436). The agent's full name, mailing address, phone, and email are published at stocktv.app/dmca. Submit DMCA notices and counter-notices using the procedure described there.
We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA, including by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material and notifying the affected user, who may submit a counter-notice as provided by 17 U.S.C. §512(g). Repeat infringers' accounts will be terminated.
We reserve the right to: (a) modify, update, or change any feature, functionality, or content of the Application at any time without notice; (b) suspend or restrict access to the Application or any part of it at any time without notice; (c) discontinue the Application entirely, temporarily or permanently, at any time without notice. Where we discontinue the Application or a paid tier, we will provide reasonable advance notice and a pro-rated refund of any prepaid amount that exceeds the period through the date of discontinuation, except as limited by applicable law. We are otherwise under no obligation to maintain any particular feature or level of service.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be so modified. All remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of one provision shall not affect the validity of any other.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any breach shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy in Part II and any in-product subscription disclosures shown at the time of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Application and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
This Part II summarizes our privacy practices. The full Privacy Policy, with the same effective date and a more detailed explanation of each topic below, is available at stocktv.app/privacy. Where the two diverge, the Privacy Policy at /privacy/ controls.
When you create an account, link a third-party identity provider, or accept an invitation:
If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe (web), Google Play Billing (Android TV), or Apple StoreKit (Apple TV / iOS). We do not receive or store raw payment-card data. We may receive limited billing metadata (last four digits, card brand, country, plan, renewal date) from Stripe for subscription management; for Google and Apple purchases, we receive only the platform-issued subscription identifier and status.
Pro+ portfolio tracking has two paths, both opt-in: SnapTrade-linked broker sync (you authenticate inside SnapTrade's hosted Connection Portal; we receive read-only positions, share counts, cost basis, and account labels — never credentials, never trading authority — see §13), and manual entry for accounts SnapTrade does not cover. Holdings linked to your identity may constitute "sensitive personal information" under California's CPRA (financial-account information). We handle this data only to display your portfolio to you and never use it for advertising, profiling, or to infer characteristics about you. You may exercise the CPRA right to limit use of sensitive personal information at any time by contacting us per §39.
Storage on your device. StockTV uses the browser's localStorage (and equivalent native-app storage on connected-TV apps) for sign-in tokens, watchlist cache, and preferences. We do not set advertising cookies or use cross-site tracking pixels. Strictly necessary cookies may be set by our infrastructure providers (e.g., Fastly load-balancing or CSRF protection) where applicable.
We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California's CCPA/CPRA. We share information only with:
We retain account information (email, name, plan, settings, portfolio entries) for as long as your account exists or as required by law. Server-access logs follow our infrastructure providers' default retention policies (typically 30–90 days). The in-app analytics event log is a rolling window of the most recent 10,000 events across all users.
You can export your data as JSON at any time from Settings → "Download my data" on the dashboard, and you can delete your account at any time from Settings → "Delete my account." Deletion cancels any active subscription, revokes any SnapTrade broker connections, removes your account row, and cascade-deletes your settings, custom sectors, subscription records, portfolio entries, and event log within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We use TLS 1.2+ for all traffic, bcrypt for password hashing, JWT bearer tokens with bounded expiry, server-side enforcement of paywall tiers, and least-privilege IAM on cloud resources. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability for breaches outside our direct control.
The Application is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States — including from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland — you do so at your own initiative. For transfers of EEA / UK / Swiss personal data to our U.S.-based service providers, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, where applicable) as the transfer mechanism. The lawful basis for processing your account data is performance of a contract; for infrastructure logs, our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional internet service. You have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability — exercisable through §39 below.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act grant you the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights: use the in-app export / delete buttons, or email support@stocktv.app. We respond within 45 days as required by California law. California Civil Code §1798.83 ("Shine the Light") permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct-marketing purposes — we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.
Residents of certain U.S. states — including but not limited to Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, New Hampshire, Delaware, New Jersey, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and others — may have rights with respect to their personal information under applicable state law, including rights to access, correct, delete, port, and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information and do not process personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise any state privacy rights, email support@stocktv.app; we respond within the timeframe required by your state's law. Where state law provides rights that cannot be limited or waived by contract — including rights related to warranties, liability, or class actions — those rights are preserved for residents of those states notwithstanding any contrary provision in these Terms.
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we require all account holders to be at least 18 (see §2). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information, please contact us at support@stocktv.app and we will delete it promptly.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Application shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Salzventure Technologies LLC is organized under the laws of the State of Colorado. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this section is intended to deprive you of the protections of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the state in which you reside that cannot be waived by contract. To the extent any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory, non-waivable protection under the law of your state of residence, that state-law protection shall apply to you.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us in good faith at support@stocktv.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. You must give us at least 30 days to respond and attempt resolution before filing any claim. Nothing in this section shortens, supplants, or otherwise limits any statutory pre-suit notice period required by your state's consumer-protection law (for example, the demand-letter requirement under Massachusetts G.L. c. 93A). Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief for urgent matters without first satisfying this informal-resolution requirement.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN YOUR STATE OF RESIDENCE, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. IF APPLICABLE LAW IN YOUR STATE OF RESIDENCE DOES NOT PERMIT THIS WAIVER, IT SHALL NOT APPLY TO YOU.
StockTV may offer a referral program under which registered users ("Referrers") can earn service credits by inviting new users ("Referees") who subsequently upgrade to a paid subscription plan.
Eligibility and credit conditions. A referral credit is earned only when: (a) the Referee signs up for a StockTV account using the Referrer's unique referral link; and (b) the Referee pays for a Pro or Pro+ subscription through Stripe. Credits are not issued for subscriptions purchased through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or any other platform. Credits are issued at our sole discretion and we reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the referral program at any time without prior notice.
Credit value. Each qualifying referral earns the Referrer thirty (30) days of service at their current paid plan tier (or at the Pro tier if the Referrer is on the Free plan). Credits have no cash value, may not be exchanged for money or monetary equivalent, and cannot be applied to your account balance or used toward any charge on a future invoice.
Non-transferable. Referral credits are non-transferable. Credits may only be applied to the Referrer's own account and cannot be gifted, sold, assigned, or otherwise transferred to any other user or account.
Referral limit. Each account may earn referral credits for a maximum of twelve (12) qualifying conversions, unless a higher limit is expressly granted in writing by StockTV. Referrals that occur after the limit has been reached are recorded but do not generate a credit.
No stacking or combining. Referral credits do not stack with other promotional credits or discounts unless expressly stated. Credits are applied only when no other promotional service credit is already active.
Fraud and abuse. Referral credits obtained through fraudulent, misleading, or abusive means (including self-referral, use of fake accounts, or automated sign-ups) will be forfeited and may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Modification and termination. We may change or discontinue the referral program at any time. Any credits already applied to your account at the time of termination will remain valid for their stated duration unless your account is suspended or terminated for cause.
